6th November 2013 - The new hall is officially opened.

On Wednesday the 6th November 2013, His Grace Archbishop Leo William Cushley, 8th Archbishop of St Andrews and Edinburgh, officially opened the new hall of St Patrick's Kilsyth. Earlier in the evening His Grace had concelebrated Mass for the first time in St Patrick's and in the company of 3 other priests, Fr James Tracey, Fr Andrew Garden and Fr Alan Meechan SVD. 31st May 2013 - The new hall is handed over.

After 10 years of planning and fund raising by St Patrick's Kilsyth - the Parish finally takes delivery of a handsome new hall for the use of the Church and the wider comunity of Kilsyth.

Fr James Tracey accepts the keys to the new church hall, presented to him by Paul Randal the Fabric Officer of the Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh. To the left of picture David Stewart and Ronnie Burrows of Fleming Ltd, the builders, on the right Joe Fitzgerald and Joe Livingstone of the Fabiric Committee, representing the Parishioners of St Patrick's.

Now the hall is handed over, delivery of furniture and fittings can begin. The hall will be fully operational hall and available for the Parish and the wider community of Kilsyth to use by the end of the summer 2013.



Fr James Tracey is the first to enter the newly commissioned building.
