Priests for Scotland - A life worth living. Please read the letter 'Following the Shepard' from Bishop John Keenan, President of the National Vocations Commission for Scotland, which implores us to pray for vocations to the priesthood, the diaconate, and consecrated life. Next Sunday on the 4th Sunday of Easter - Good Shepard Sunday - we are asked to commence 9 days of Novena for vocations. Please read the letter from Bishop Keenan by clicking here.

Ladies Spring Afternoon High Tea Let’s celebrate lent being over and spring in the air with endless prosecco, dainty sandwiches, cakes, good company & laughter! Sunday, May 21st 1 - 3pm. Tickets only £5.

Duties! a reminder that the Church encourages us to experience the joy of the Sacrament of Penance(Confession) during the Easter season, as part of our Easter duties. Going once a year is the bare minimal that the Church asks in order to receive the Lord in Holy Communion during Eastertide in a state of grace.

Well done to those who have led us so prayerfully in singing for the Easter Triduum. Can I ask all those involved with the music ministry to come along to the music rehersals every Wednesday after the evening Mass, for the next three weeks, so to prepare for the celebrations of First Holy Communions next month.

Divine Mercy Novena it was very uplifting spiritually to see so many people join in this novena in the lead up to Divine Mercy Sunday and also to see the good attendance last Sunday at the holy hour at 3pm. Many thanks to those who led the daily prayers and all those who participated.

Post Vigil Supper takes place this Saturday at 7pm. On the menu this week is a treat from the Chip Shop! Orders will be taking as you leave Mass this weekend or complete the sheet at the back of the chapel.

Our young people at school,college and university have been busy preparing for exams over the past few weeks and now are about to sit their exams. Please keep them, their parents and teachers in your prayers. To aid the pupils in their exams there are sheets with prayers on the display unit under St Patrick, pleae take one.

Please Note First Holy Communions Masses on the 13 & 20 May will start at 11am.

COOP We are delighted to inform you, that the parish youth group have been nominated by the local Coop to receive sponsorship this year. They inform us that 1% of all sales of Coop branded products goes to a nominated local charity. Can I ask, when you are shopping in the Coop, you request that the 1% of your purchases goes to St Patrick’s Youth group. We have also been fundraising with a raffle of an Easter Bunny and selling spring plants. Thank you for your ongoing support for our young people.
